Bosavi crater, Backpacking to remote tribal village stays, Ripping down fast-flowing rivers in Zodiaks, Un spoilt extraordinary scenery and Traditional sacred ceremonies.... This is the Mount Bosavi Adventure....

This is an exclusive one-of-a-lifetime luxury adventure. The Mount Bosavi/Tufi Adventure may be tailored according to interests and time schedules. It may include some of the following activities:

• Exclusive helicopter ride down Agogo Gorge to village stay
• Fast flowing river zodiak trips to remote BBC base camp
• 6-8 Hour hikes to village accommodation in the mountains
• Witness rare ceremony and cultural dance celebrations
• Helicopter ride up the side of Mt. Bosavi to our own 'crater-rim campsite' recently used in filming documentary of area
• Refreshing dips in waterfalls surrounded by carnivorous plants (pitcher plants)
• Chance to see the many species of Bird of Paradise that live in the area, plus many more strange and beautiful creatures that have been just discovered by science
• Skull caves, paddling on dugout canoes, fishing and snorkeling on the reefs in Tufi and so so so much more...........

Ideally this trip is typically 18-19 days in length

Example itinerary for one day during the trip:

• 6:30-7am - Early morning start with refreshing breakfast and hot drinks
• 8am - Packs on our backs, start today's hike towards Seonne falls village along narrow jungle path lead by local guides and our two company tour leaders; Plenty of photo opportunities and chances to see unique and interesting critters along the way, including the elusive Bird of Paradise.
• 11:30-12 - Packed picnic lunch along the track, possible dip in a stream dependant on where we stop.
• 12:30 - Refreshed with food in our bellies, continue along the hike
• 3pm - Arrive in Seonne Falls surrounded by village excitement, enjoy a refreshing drink and nibbles with Mount Bosavi in view, while the village prepares traditional fan fare for dinner
• 4-5pm - Clean-up in river or go for a swim, take some photos, talk with the local villagers who will follow you inquisitively, or just take a nap until dinner time.
• 6-7pm - Dinner served inside the spectacular & equally huge 'hausmahn' building used in ceremony dances and special occasions.
• 8pm onward - Special singsing dancing possibly shown or a walking tour to view the rare carnivorous plants, dependant on conditions
• Bedtime is up to you, however if it is an early start the next day, most head to bed around 9-10pm.
